We primarily shot in NYC with a ton of great musicians and pro bass players like John Patitucci, Paul Simon's bass player Bakhiti Kumalo, and Beyonce's bass player Divinity Roxx who all really knew their stuff.

]]><![CDATA[Gettin' Zen in New York City]]>Thu, 21 Jul 2022 16:29:18 GMThttps://www.reidcarrescia.com/blog/gettin-zen-in-new-york-cityOver the last year, I was tasked with shooting and editing almost 100 individual videos for a masterclass style class on meditation and general self-help videos on better living for a new app called Winked!

We shot in various locations around Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City, Hoboken & Newark with many different teachers. I ran three cameras on each shoot plus a dana dolly for the wide shot.

I didn't think it was possible to achieve some zen in the hectic bustle of the city, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. The app is now live, and you can the intro video here.  ​https://justwinked.com/
